At a Democratic Mass Convention held in Point Pleasant, May 21, 1908, pursuant to notice by the Democratic County Executive Committee for Mason county, the following delegates were selected to the National Delegate Nominating Convention to be held in Wheeling, May 28, 1908:
W M Long, A G Eastbam, Robt Ball, O O Love, J K Cromley, W R Woods, Chap Baker, Ed Gerloch, John Roush, Dr A J Sayre, Griff T Smith, Geo M McDaniel, M W Stribling, S P Black, L G Ulen, denin, E L Foreman, T H Roush, Chas Edwards, J A Waggener, T E Greenlee, L O Somerville, Chas T Beale, Rankin Wiley.
The following delegates were selected to the State Convention to be held at Charleston, July 29th:

The following delegates were selected to the Fifth Congressional Convention to be called hereafter:

The following delegates were selected to the Senatorial Convention hereafter to be called:
Geo Adams, Samuel Errett, Levi Roush, Chas Love, L A McMillin, O E Jones, John Ginther, D Chapman, W O Smith, Andy Wilson, J B Sheline, Henry Gwinn, Dr Walter Withers, Dexter Hall, Thos Hogg, Mack Stewart, Sam Fogle song, T E Greenlee, O B Waggener L M Miller, O D Chapman, J S Winton, James Smith.
The following District Committeemen were elected by said convention:
Arbuckle--J V Stockton.
Cooper--Geo T Adkins.
Clendenin--E L Neale.
Cologne--Chas Harris.
Graham--Dr D A Sayre.
Lewis--Geo G Somerville.
Hannan--Dr H J Campbell.
Robinson--U O Lewis.
Waggener--Chas S Edwards.
Union--M F Smith.
The following resolution was unanimously adopted:
Resolved, That in common with our party associates throughout the State the Democracy of Mason county recognizes that William J. Bryan is a great and forceful leader, whose public career and private life are without blemish or stain; and we declare him to be the choice of the democrats of this county for the Democratic nomination for President, and any word or act of ours which can be made persuasive or binding is here expressed to the delegates chosen to the National Convention at Denver that they vote first and all the time and use all honorable means to secure the nomination of Wm J. Bryan for President, and we direct the delegates to the delegate conventions to vote to instruct the delegates selected by them to vote to instruct in said conventions for Wm. J. Bryan, for President.
