Governor Hill's Appointments.

ALBANY, Oct. 2.-Governor Hill has appointed Almet F. Jenks, of Brooklyn, as judge advocate general upon his military staff in the place of Gen. Clifford A. Bartlett, resigned. Gen. Jenks is the corporation counsel of Brooklyn and judge advocate of the Second brigade, with the rank of major. The governor has also appointed Gen. Roger A. Pryor judge of the court of common pleas of New York in the place of Judge Larremore, who recently tendered his resignation to take effect Oct. 1.
