Full Text
Snowy Scenes in Mexico.
Rarely have the volcanoes been more amply covered with snow, and the hills between are also white, the result of the recent damp weather. Tourists now here may witness a grand sight by going out on the Paseo in the morning and looking at the huge mountains. Even the top of Ajusco has a shading of white. The "rain waters," or "aguas nieves," come every January, but this year were delayed and arrived when the bloom was on the fruit trees, the beginning of the early Mexican spring.
