Summer Enrollment
PRAIRIE VIEW, Tex. (ANP)
According to figures released by
Dr. T. R. Solomon, director of admissions, the 1950 summer school
enrollment at Prairie View has
reached an all time peak for summers. With registration incomplete, 1683 students had matriculated through June 10.
Eight hundred fifty-two are
doing graduate work and 831 are
in the undergraduate field. More
than 200 additional students are in
Prairie View Extension Schools
and Workshop at different points
over the state.
A strong summer school faculty
has been assembled to offer
courses in various specialized
fields. Elementary Education has
the largest enrollment to date.
