Whisiger's Brigade, C. S. A.
A correspondence is now going on between the brigade officers and the commandants of the regiments formerly composing Weisiger's brigade, Mahone's division of the Army of Northern Virginia, looking to the holding of a convention at some central point, in the month of May, for the purpose of reorganizing that command on a social and benevolent basis. The regiments which formed this famous brigade were the Sixth, Twelfth, Sixteenth, Forty-first, and Sixty-first. The last-named has already taken action, and as far as heard from, the rank and file of the others favor the proposition for reorganization.
