The Legislature adjourned on the 23d ultimo, after performing a considerable amount of labor. The progress in legislation during the latter weeks of the session was very considerable, and the list of acts passed numbers 161, some of which are of much length and importance. We shall give a list of their titles as soon as we can find the room.

In the apportionment for representatives, Buchanan County is made the 48th district, and has one representative. In the Senatorial apportionment, the counties of Delaware and Buchanan are made the 36th district, which is entitled to one Senator.

The State has been re-districted into eleven Judicial Districts, agreeable to the requirements of the New Constitution. This district, which is the 9th, consists of Dubuque, Delaware, Buchanan, Black hawk and Grundy.
