The Crawford County Automotive Trade association held its annual election of officers at the Elberson hotel Thursday evening following an excellent dinner in the hotel dining room. R. T. Kennedy was reelected as president of the association and C. J. Carmean and H. A. Paxton reelected as secretary and treasurer, respectively. H. H. Miller was elected vice president. W. H. Stuckey, Charles Huey and S. W. Reeder were chosen directors.
The menu for the dinner was ingeniously arranged with each article named after some part of an automobile's anatomy: Radius rod cocktail. Timken bearing bullion. Sport model with dressing. Transmission filler, Piston Rod buttersauce, Valve salad. Wheel dressing. Spring niblets, Home made Differential pie, Carburetor cheese, Red Crown Gasoline and Exhaust.
The association passed a resolution opposing the daylight saving ordinance this year. The report of the treasurer on the Auto show showed that although expenses were not entirely cleared the amount expended made the project comparatively cheap advertising.
