The Lecture of Mr. Augustus Beadle before the Literary association was a model of excellence. The language was chaste and elegant, the scope of thought sublime. We are informed that M. V. Burdick Esq., of Decorah has consented to address the association, and an effort will be made to secure him for next week. His subject we did not learn. John T. Stoneman Esq., of McGregor has accepted an invitation to address the association. The subject of his lecture will be 'Our distinguished and pious friend, Jo. Smith.' He may be expected any time early in February that the Committee may appoint.
