Sunday was a busy day with Rev. Taschereau Arnold, evangelist and public relations director of the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia. Sunday morning he worshipped at Pilgrim Travelers Baptist Church, Rev. Carl Monger, pastor; also attending the services was Rev. A. Bell, promotional secretary, State Baptist Convention.
On Sunday afternoon, Rev. Arnold spoke at the special dedicatory services at the "Baptist Ministers' Fellowship Center" 1006 Lena Street NW with Rev. T. R. Pollard, chaplain, presiding. The purpose of the meeting was ably outlined by the president: Rev. E. Wulkerson. The sermon was preached by Rev. F. L. Traylor, pastor Liberty Hill and Hunter Hill Baptist Churches.
Sunday night Evangelist Arnold worshipped at Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Rev. F. L. Traylor, pastor, where he made remarks and assisted at the communion. He expects to record the services at Liberty Hill on Sunday Feb. 1, which will be used in a program at a later date. Pastors Moncrief and Traylor delivered heart-felt sermons.
