Full Text
On Saturday Prof. Richard Foster met his class in the field and delivered the first of his series of lectures on autumn wild flowers, and explored with them the haunts of many of our flora. These lectures are exceedingly interesting, with as much success as attending the lectures in the new hall connected with Freedmen's Hospital. After the students assist at surgical operations, they repair to this hall, where they are theoretically instructed.
In the department for training nurses the class is unusually large, and Dr. Williams has also allowed them the use of this hall. After assisting in the treatment of any interesting case, they are assembled in this hall and the pathology of the disease explained to them.
