Rescuing Party Reaches Flyers

McGRATH, Alaska, Dec. 3. (U.P.)—A dog team relief expedition today reached Brothers George Feltes and Martial Lapayere, flying Jesuit missionaries, who have been marooned for several days at the mouth of the Ganes Creek between McGrath and Holy Cross. Bob Ellis, Alaska Airways pilot, reported that four men beckoned to him on his second trip over the stranded plane, which was forced down during a blizzard along the Lower Yukon. Ellis said he saw that the relief party had reached them. It was believed that the missionaries would be able to return here late today or Friday.
