DROWNED IN A TANK.

Nine Year Old Girl Was Found Dead In A Tank At La Gloria.

The nine-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Campbell of La Gloria was drowned in the tank which supplies water for the pump there, Friday last. Mr. Campbell is the engineer at the plant. There were perhaps 25 persons in immediate vicinity when the child was drowned, but none saw her fall into the water or heard any cry from her. Mrs. Campbell, missing her little girl, went to look for her, and found her lifeless body in the tank.—Brownsville Herald.
