On the 15th June, the boats under the command of Lieut. Com. M. C. Perry captured one of the tenders of the piratical fleet, with two men, and two days after vessels in question, commanded by Rafael, chased on shore and captured one of the line, brother to the commodore of all the pirates. She is the largest piratical vessel that has yet been captured. When boarded, she had a red flag flying, and all the crew escaped on shore except one, who calls himself an European Spaniard, and is now confined on board the Shark. The large prize has been armed and manned, and is now cruising with the Shark. The detachment of boats scoured the Coast of Cuba from Sugar Key to Matanzas, looking into every creek or harbor where the pirates could possibly secrete themselves.
