Tiffin, Ohio-The following officers were installed by Local Union 205 at their meeting in January: President, Willard Griffin; vice president, Clarence Martin, Sr.; financial secretary, George Martin; recording secretary, Miriam Schander. The new officials in accepting their posts, asked for the same cooperation from the membership, as extended the retiring officers.
It is with sincere regret we announce the death of Bro. Ralph Kutch on Jan. 19th. A true disciple in the ranks of organized labor, his passing will be mourned by all those who knew him.
Everything seems to be rolling along fine in Tiffin with all members looking to a prosperous year in 1947. We must not overlook the fact that with good times ahead, we also have our obligations to meet in the new year. We should strive for better attendance at our union meetings, lend all possible assistance to our shop committee in handling disputes, and join with our fellow brothers throughout the trade in promoting the interests of organized labor, as practiced by the National Brotherhood of Operative Potters.-O. C. 205.
