Be the street a restricted business area
The Commissioners took Snow's request under advisement.
Since City Attorney M. Ignatius Lester was not present with the draft ordinance, no further action could be taken on rezoning the boulevard. Commissioners voted to ask both Lester and City Manager Dave King to meet with them at their next meeting, so that the draft can be put into shape.
The eight members of the Commission present discussed further changes in the zoning of Roosevelt boulevard.
Neil Saunders asked the Commissioners to consider rezoning property so that it can be used for a filling station. A Committee was appointed to study the Southard street lot.
It will report back to the next meeting on whether the land can be rezoned from Residence B. to Business A
