We learn from New-York, by a Vessel which arrived last Saturday, and sailed from thence the Day before, That Sir Henry Moore, readily consented, that the Stamps which came in the last Ship with him, should be deposited in the City-Hall; and refused to accept of any Engagement offered him by the City Officers, for their Preservation: That a Number of the Sons of Liberty, highly pleased with their new Governor's Conduct, went over to the Lt. Governor, at Flushing, on Long-Island, to demand the Receipt given him by the Corporation, for the first Cargo of Stamps, which they obtained, and returned the same Day.
