Congress of the United States.
IN SENATE, December 13.
The bill to repeal the act entitled "An act to establish an uniform system of Bankruptcy throughout the United States," was read the third time. It was supported by Messrs Breckenridge, Cocke, Logan, Venable and Butler; and opposed by Messrs. S. Smith and Wright. It passed in the affirmative--Yeas 17--Nays 12.
The Yeas and Nays were as follows:
YEAS--Messrs. Anderson, Breckenridge, Butler, Cocke, Dayton, Ellery, Franklin, Hildreth, Logan, Maclay, Olcott, Pickering, Plumer, Potter, J. Smith, Venable, and Worthington.
NAYS--Messrs. Adams, Armstrong, Bailey, Baldwin, Bradley, Brown, Condit, J. Smith, S. Smith, Tracy, White, and Wright.
The above bill only requires the signature of the President to be a law.
