TO HONOR T.F. KERR WHO HAS RETURNED FROM THE BORDER
South Amboy, Dec. 11—Whenever there is any trouble for Uncle Sam, South Amboy responded to a greater or less extent. During the Civil war South Amboy responded nobly in the number who went to the front. In the Spanish-American war South Amboy was quite well represented and in the trouble along the border South Amboy was represented by Thomas F. Kerr, son of R. M. Kerr and nephew of Freeholder Kerr, of this city.

Mr. Kerr having returned from the border where he has been serving as a soldier for Uncle Sam, and being a member of the Men's Club of Christ's church, the club will give a reception to Mr. Kerr and his family in honor of his return on next Tuesday night in the parish house. All men of the community regardless of club or church affiliations are cordially invited to participate. No formal invitations are being sent out the public announcement is considered a sufficient invitation.
