Ladies Working for Success of Flower Show Here Aug 30

The Garden Wall Flower club of St. Ignatius is doing considerable work toward making its annual flower show a success and a well worth attending affair. It is to be held next Wednesday, August 30.

The club president, Mrs. Robert Roseleip, Sr., would like everyone to know about the contest, "Know Your Evergreen," which will be part of the flower show and is open to all. Then there will be a special weed display and anyone may bring in new weeds to have identified. The club especially urges the men to bring in entries for the grain displays.

It is hoped that as many as can, will bring their entries to the show on Tuesday evening, Aug. 29, so that more time can be had in the placing and arranging of the various displays. Also a silver tea will take place during the show and wedding gowns are to be shown or modeled between 3 and 4 p. m.
