Dr. Elton D. Trueblood, noted author and educator, has been added to the list of nationally prominent speakers who will take part in the first National Convention of Christian Men in Cleveland's Public Hall, September 14 through 16.
Professor of Philosophy and Dean of men at Earlham College, Richmond, Indiana, Dr. Trueblood has written such best sellers as, "Predicament of Modern Men," "Foundation of Reconstruction," and "Your Other Vocation." He recently served as Chief of Religious Information in the U. S. Information agency.
Sharing the Convention's platform during the three days of meetings will be Evangelist Billy Graham, whose revivals have attracted throngs throughout the world; Dr. Norman Vincent Peale, famed minister and author of New York's Marble Collegiate Church; Mayor H. Roe Bartle of Kansas City and Congressman Walter H. Judd of Minnesota.
The Convention will attract upwards of 30 different Protestant church denominations throughout the United States. It's emphasis will be "men in the nation's religious life."
