McArthur & Company are making extensive preparations to facilitate their work on the Little Kanawha Railroad. They have erected a large storehouse at Palestine and will ship material to that point, to be transferred to where it is needed along the line. Another building will be erected at once at Creston, which will be used as a store house for cement. A powder house will be built near Reedy Ripple. Sub-Contractor Leonard, who has the contract for grading two miles of road opposite Elizabeth, has almost finished work on the camp, which is directly across the river from that town.--Parkersburg News.
