Truth is mighty and must prevail.
Messrs. Editors: —In your paper of the 26th ultimo, Samuel Harris late Editor of the Bridgeton Chronicle, has thought proper, by insinuation and otherwise to reiterate the falsehood heretofore published by him in regard to the firing a Cannon on the morning after the election before E. Davis and Son's Hotel, as he would have the people believe was done by the Temperance men. Now Sirs, in order to get information, who it was, that was concerned in doing that memorable act, and who tells falsehoods in the matter, apply to
