CHOLERA IN LONDON. - A London correspondent says that they have had another visit from this scourge of God - the cholera. The extent of the ravages cannot be exactly ascertained, on account of the sickness of a large portion of the population. The disease has, in the first place, visited the poor and wretched, but it cannot be doubted that they are very numerous, and will form the main aliment on which it will, I fear, continue to feed until nothing is left to consume. The authorities, in the dark, there being no board of health appointed this summer.
The Londoners care but little about it; the streets thronged as usual. When the pestilence; all the theatres are open, except for the frequent hearses that blacken the way, you would not suppose that London was now groaning under the cholera.
