Marine Sergeants March For Dimes

ENCINITAS, Calif. (AP)—The four U.S. Marine sergeants marching for a dime a step from San Diego to Los Angeles started on their third day from here today, with 25 of the 150 miles behind them.

Sergeants Harry Orlish, Kenneth Womble, Warren Flournoy and Wayne Sands, veterans of Korea combat, are setting their steps to the rate of contributions toward the $120,000 goal.

The dimes, being contributed by communities along their march, go to the national polio fund.
