Kinston, Dec. 21 - (AP) - An acute shortage of kerosene here was relieved with the arrival today of several loads of an allotment of 25,000 barrels of the fuel from the Greensboro pipeline terminal for eastern North Carolina users.

This was said to be the first allotment made at the terminal for the eastern area of the state.

Mayor John R. Sans said the allotment was made after urgent appeals from several mayors, civic organizations and Governor Broughton.
