Full Text
Portland papers mention a case which lately occurred at Portland.
Three men, accompanied by a woman, went before a Justice there.
The three insisted upon being married to the woman.
Finally, after listening, the Justice stated that the man who came to him singly with the woman should be the man to whom she belonged.
They all started for the woman's, but the girl remained at the Justice's a little while; one of them came back, putting money in hand, and the woman said 'yes' in the right place, and solved that vexed question.
