The Wiscasset Yankee states that the charges preferred against the collector of that port, have been fully and completely substantiated in every particular.

[These charges, as brought against the collector by one of his deputies, were that a portion of the fees of the latter were retained in the hands of the collector, for electioneering purposes, while he was required to certify that he had received the full amount. The subject, it will be recollected, occupied much of the time of the late session of Congress, and was at last referred to the Secretary of the Treasury.—Statesman.]
