NEVER HAVE BEEN SURVEYED

Wichita Mountains Have Been Neglected in That Respect.

Guthrie, O. T., Aug. 25.—The allotting agents in the Kiowa and Comanche country are experiencing a great deal of trouble on account of the destruction of corner stones and land marks made by the surveyors. The country was surveyed in 1872 and was re-surveyed in 1899, all but the mountains, which have never been surveyed. So few of the marks are left that the agents find it almost impossible to mark off the allotments.
