The Memphis Commercial Appeal of a recent date says: "Evangelist Fife and Mrs. Fife are at the Clarendon. Wednesday they will begin a series of meetings at Collierville. They are here from Corinth, Miss., where there was a wonderful religious awakening. At least 350 persons professed religion. The stores, foundries, mills and schools closed for day services. The foundries and mills opened with prayer, which will be continued every morning hereafter. When the evangelist and his helpers left Corinth 400 or more people came to see them off, and a prayer service was held at the train." Mr. Fife will begin a revival at Manchester May 19th, and hopes to see many of his Maysville friends.
