Full Text

Contracts for furnishing the interior fixtures and furnishings for Pureair Sanitorium, the new tri-county tuberculosis sanitorium near Bayfield, have been let during the past few days, and the firm of Jostine Sohilling of St. Paul was given the contract for equipping the building, including furnishings, laundry machinery and other material, and Angvick Bros., of Ashland, will furnish the main part of the furniture and such material, excepting a part of the dining room furniture and kitchen equipment, the bid of the former firm amounting to about $8,000. The firms securing these contracts have agreed to install the equipment in the shortest time possible in order to have the sanitorium ready for the opening the first of February, as this will be a month later than the committee planned for the completion of the building and opening of the same. Some difficulty has been encountered in securing material which has caused this delay of a month.
