The Friendship Guild of the Pilgrim-Christian church met at the home of Mrs. Helen Mitchell. Assistant hostesses were Velma Tann and Leah Dukes. Program was "The American Indian" and was in charge of Mrs. Madge Strong, assisted by Mrs. Rose Rossbach and Mrs. Leita Smith. It was decided to hold a card party on Saturday, February 4. at 8:00 p.m. in the Educational building on South street. for the benefit of the building fund. Tickets will be 50 cents and can be purchased from any member of th Friendship Guild, at the church office, 113 South St., or at the door the night of the party. It is hoped that all members and friends of the church will attend this card party, for besides spending an entertaining evening (refreshments will be served), it will help to pay off the mortgage on the new parsonage.
