Full Text
Arming young boys with deadly shooting irons has too often the inevitable result. At Kasota the other day, Charles Warrant, 16, after a quarrel with some boys about weasel traps, when about a block away, shot twice in the direction of Clifford Chantler with the result that one of the bullets struck the latter over the eye and caused a fatal wound from which the boy died a few days later. Deep sorrow and regret in two families cannot mend the matter, and the surviving boy will carry a terrible memory for the rest of his life.
