The Citizens Committee reports progress in obtaining subscriptions for stock in the proposed Virgin Islands National Bank. Many people have been interviewed and the following citizens have subscribed a total $16,300.00:
James C. Tiley, L. W. Cramer, James Knott, Robt. W. Skeoch, George M. Hughes, C. Espersen, George Ebbesen, E. V. Thomas, F. Smith, Joseph Alexander, Dr. Bregger, H. N. McKenzie, Dr. Roberts, George Latimer, A. M. Golden, Douglas Armstrong, Selwyn Fleming, Hans Boje, H. C. Ferris, C. Moller, A. Rodriquez, D. Noll, Christian Joseph, Chr. Jacobs, R. H. A. Leader, H. MacKay, D. Valls, C. Coff, Christiansted Theatre.
Latest report from the St. Thomas Citizens Committee shows subscriptions of $16,700.00. This makes a total of $33,000.00 for the Islands.
