Last Saturday e'en night three Men on Horseback attacked upon the Highway, in the County of Worcester three Men, at different Places, travelling singly; demanding them to deliver their Money, threatening their Lives in case of Refusal: The first who was assaulted so overpowered his Antagonists as to knock down two of them, and escape from the third....The two others the Highwaymen came up with, and robbed them of their Money and other Things and then went off...
But being pursued that Night, they were apprehended the next morning when at Breakfast, at a House in Holden, and committed to Worcester Gaol....They say they came from Old England, but last from New-York.
