NEW MT. CALVARY
Rev. W. P. Tarpley, pastor
Edna E. Thompson, reporter

Sunday School was opened at the usual hour by the faithful and loving Supt. Deacon N. Miller. The teachers taught their classes beautifully. We had a large attendance in Sunday School. Remarks by the pastor.

Morning prayer service was conducted by Bro. Slaughter.

The junior choir and usher board No. 1 rendered service for the day. Rev. J. J. Sheffield delivered the morning sermon. Our souls burned within while he delivered the message. Rev. Brown prayed for the burdened and heavy laden ones. Rev. Stewart opened the doors of the church for new members.

The members and friends of New Mt. Calvary wish to express their gratitude for all the pastors and their congregations for their splendid services during our pastor's 5th anniversary. Again I say thanks to you one and all.
