The Christiancy Case,

A session was held before Examiner Lovejoy yesterday and Mrs. Lugenbeel, mother of Mrs. Christiancy, appeared for further cross-examination. The counsel for the plaintiff stated that they had no further questions to ask and the examination was adjourned. The defense will next produce Mr. Lugenbeel, father of Mrs. Christiancy, who will be examined as to Mrs. Christiancy's whereabouts on Christmas Day, 1879 when, it is alleged, Giro met her in this city. It is probable that there will be several more witnesses for the defense and that the evidence will not be closed for a month yet.
