STOLEN ARTICLES RECOVERED.—Mention was made in the Gazette some days ago that Mr. Michael Harlow's grocery store, on the corner of Fairfax and Princess streets, had been robbed, and that among other articles stolen were four watches. A colored boy, named Richard Carter, was arrested in Washington a few days after the robbery, charged with the offence, and committed to the jail here in consequence. He has since acknowledged his guilt, and has informed the police of the whereabouts of the stolen articles—he having given them to a colored boy named Stevens for safe keeping.
