During the next two weeks the Officer Indoctrination Course (Chaplains'), U. S. Naval School, General Line, will be the site of filming scenes for a Chaplain Corps motion picture.
The movie, to be entitled "Clergymen in Uniform", is being produced for procurement and public relations purposes which will include showings at various clergymen meetings and on television.
The entire film will be in Technicolor and will run 13 minutes.
It will include scenes of chaplains performing their duties ashore and afloat and at the front lines in Korea.
The production of "Clergymen in Uniform" is being supervised by Dr. E. R. Bryan of the Naval Photographic Center, Anacostia, D. C.
Dr. Bryan's previous work at the Photographic Center has been making training films for the Navy.
Technical advice for the filming is being rendered by LCDR Elmer Bosserman, ChC, of the Chaplains' Division, Bureau of Naval Personnel.
Dr. Bryan and Chaplain Bosserman are part of a 10-man team of photographers and technicians which arrived on board this week.
