Manager Ernest Berg of Greenwood Cooperative Ass'n reported to members attending their annual meeting Aug. 28 that sales increased 30.16% over last year. Savings for the fiscal year jumped from $3,553 for 1944 to $10,621 at the end of the last period. In 1935, 54 stockholders paid $770 to start the co-op, while today capital equities total $23,698. Jake Speich served as president and James White as secretary last year. Ivan Ruzich was vice president and William Joyce and Milton Wolf, directors.
