ALEXANDRIA. D.C.
FRIDAY MORNING, FEBRUARY 3, 1832.
We think it a good occasion to remark, that we must respectfully decline the publication of any original or selected articles, the tendency of which may be to produce a controversy on points of religious doctrine or practice, or connected with the peculiar views of any particular denomination. Our paper is not the proper arena for these sorts of discussions, and we are confident that our determination, in the end, will meet with the approbation of the whole community.
