Gov. Guest at Tenn. State's Homecoming

Dr. W. S. Davis, president, Tennessee A. & I. State University, Nashville, announces ceremonies scheduled to begin Wednesday morning, Nov. 21, and extend through Thursday, in formal recognition of the achievement of university status which became effective at the beginning of the fall term.

Governor Browning will deliver the Inaugural Convocation address in the university auditorium at ten o'clock Wednesday morning, Nov. 21.

On the platform with the Governor and programmed to speak will be other state officials, representatives from various institutions of higher learning, and educators from Middle East, and West Tennessee.

It is also Homecoming week and the loyal alumni are invited to the campus to see old friends and relive in memory the golden undergraduate days. It all holds special significance under student management because of both the place the fee in the past has joined of the school and the faith that has continued promise in the fields of higher education.
