BLACK FACTS.

The SLAVES in seven of the States which will probably vote for Madison and War, amount to more than Nine Hundred and Eighty Eight Thousand! These, it is well known, have no more voice or share in the choice than so many New-England black cattle. Allowing one elector to every 45,000 of these Slaves, Mr. Madison and his War will receive, and no doubt, boast of TWENTY ONE such votes!! But their advocates will say, they are Constitutional votes. Granted—But pray have not all the parts of the original Constitution which were offered for this degrading 'concession,' been obliterated by continual Alterations of this same Constitution. The manufacturing of new states is a violation of the spirit of the Original Compact. Centinel.
