We publish to-day the proceedings of a meeting held on Friday the 30th ult., to pay a tribute of respect to the memory of those who fell at the battle of Buena Vista, and to raise contributions for the purpose of erecting a monument over their remains in the yard of the Capitol at Little Rock.
The subscription lists are in the hands of the committee, who will co-operate with other committees formed in the State for the same purpose. It is hoped that every county in the State will assist in the patriotic and praiseworthy object.
