FORT MALDEN!

We have had various reports from the seat of the war in Canada --The following is from a Frankfort (Kentucky) paper of the 12th August.

" We stop the press to announce the following important intelligence-- Mr. Thomas Long of this place has just returned from Cincinnati, where news had arrived (by an express who had went on to Gov. Meigs from Gen. Hull) that Malden had been taken by Gen. Hull on the 2d inst with the loss of 200 of his men killed, and 400 wounded. No doubt was entertained at Cincinnati of the truth of this--The attack was commenced by Hull on the 1st. The loss of the British is not stated--and no further particulars known here"
