Four Cardinals at Capital

WASHINGTON, Sept. 24—For the first time in the history of the Catholic church in America, four cardinals met yesterday at a meeting of trustees of the Catholic University here. They are Cardinals O'Connell of Boston, Mundelein of Chicago, Hayes of New York, and Dougherty of Philadelphia.

The meeting preceded a session today of the Catholic hierarchy in America at which will be gathered the four cardinals and sixty-one of the archbishops and bishops in America to discuss church affairs.
