Ida Balko returned Wednesday from the Rudolph Fendrick home near Morgan where she spent the first part of the week.
George Halvorsen of Willmar, Minnesota visited at the home of his sister, Mrs. Art. Stillwell from Friday until Sunday.
Jaehning Brothers Co. are going to install a new furnace in our school Saturday.
Frank Altman of New Ulm is visiting at the home of his son Joe Altman this week.
Mrs. John Anderson attended a social gathering at the Frank Powell home Wednesday.
The smaller grades are making September decorations.
Mr. and Mrs. John Stewig and daughter were in the City Wednesday on business.
The officers of the Little Citizens' League for this year are as follows: Hubert Altman, president; Bernice Anderson, vice-president; Rose Stewig, secretary; Louis Gobleisch, treasurer.
We enjoyed our first "Birthday Party" Friday afternoon. Games were played and cake served by Bernice Anderson for refreshments.
The school nurse, Miss Ohlendorf visited our school last Friday.
