Florida Glades Are Movie Site

The wildlife of Florida's mysterious Everglades provides some of the most thrilling moments in RKO Pictures Corporation's new release, "Yellowneck" opening Friday at the Islander Theatre. Filmed entirely on location by Empire Studios, Inc., new independent movie company located at Orlando, Florida, the film catches wildcats, alligators, owls, skunks, deer, vultures and snakes in their native habitats. Billed as one of the most exciting sequences ever made for the screen is the death scene of actor Harold Gordon who falls into a nest of deadly rattlesnakes.
