Yesterday morning the 2 year old boy of C. N. Baylor was badly scalded on his right leg. A hired woman was engaged in scrubbing the floor and had a bucket of boiling hot water standing in the room when the little fellow came in carrying a stick in his hand. When near the bucket he tripped over the stick and stumbled against the bucket, splashing the hot water over his leg. Dr. Dodge was passing by and was called in and with the aid of Dr. Giffin, who was immediately summoned, the little one was put under the influence of chloroform and the injured member dressed. The skin was scalded and blistered but the injury is not believed to be serious.
