Full Text

While the names of many people are being mentioned for the various offices to be filled by nomination and election this fall, there are none in which the people seem to take more interest than in that of Representative. Hon. O. P. Norris has filled that office very creditably for one term and is before the people for a re-nomination. The JOURNAL knows of no reason why Mr. Norris should not be renominated. In every question that came up in the last legislature he endeavored to inform himself on the correct situation and recorded his vote accordingly and thus far we have to hear of very few errors he has made. He is a plain, outspoken man, a farmer and deeply interested in the welfare of the farming, as well as all other interests, that affect the people.

Of the many men who have represented Wood county in the past, we believe none have been more faithful to the trust imposed than has Hon. O. P. Norris.
