Mrs. Huntley, listed in "Who's Who" and whose art has been exhibited in Rome, Venice, London, South America and the U. S., has won two first prizes in the National Graphic Arts Shows and also had three one-man shows in New York City.

Her works are in the permanent collections of the Boston Museum, Chicago Art Institute, Library of Congress and many others.

She is an associate member of the National Academy in New York City, and has a drawing there now on exhibition, which was mentioned in the New York Times.

Mrs. Huntley illustrated and explained the technicalities of art, holding her audience spellbound for over an hour. With weaving fascination and interest, she elucidated the different steps in art, starting from the first step in wood-blocking, to relief printing, copper-plating, stipple engraving, lithography, and etchings.

She also exhibited famous works of contemporary artists. Of special interest were works by Mabel Dwight and Isobel Fisher, also Harmensoon Rembrandt (Mrs. Huntley's favorite painter of the Dutch school, who produced many successful portraits as well as numerous figure subjects, all of them distinguished by their masterly qualities. Rembrandt was an etcher of high ability.)

Mrs. Huntley, who possesses a great deal of charm and personality, was received enthusiastically by the president, Mrs. George C. Laun and all the members and their guests.

Pupils of L. Gerard, art teacher at the Putnam High School, were also guests.

Preceding the speaker, there was a short business meeting with reports from Mrs. Karl Phillips, financial secretary; Mrs. Earl Spencer, recording secretary; Mrs. H. H. Ellis, and various committees.

The application of Mrs. Norman LaRose for membership was voted upon and accepted.

The social committee, with Mrs. Theodore Gagne and Mrs. William Dagnall as co-chairmen, with their committee of Mrs. John Langford, Mrs. H. H. Ellis, Mrs. Henry Dunleavy, Mrs. Alvin Lachapelle, Mrs. Justin Smith, Mrs. Paul Tobler, Mrs. Rudolf Nelson, Mrs. Gordon Sherman, Mrs. Raymond Evans, Mrs. Otto Lehrer and Mrs. Clement Desrusseau, served coffee and doughnuts.
